Dans le cadre d'un poste à pourvoir chez l'un de nos clients, compagnie de réassurance non vie internationale nous recherchons un property underwritter H/F
-
Select, analyse and assess property/power submissions, underwrite with a technical approach, negotiate terms and conditions

Develop and maintain a profitable portfolio in accordance with the Specialty Insurance (SI) underwriting guidelines
-
Build and maintain brokers relationship to maintain a regular flow of submissions, participate in industry events (seminars, forums, conferences) to promote image of the group

Develop technical knowledge in selected industries

Market Specialty Insurance capabilities and products to Corporate Risk Managers, Brokers and Ceding companies in EMEA countries and London market

Produce and share informed business intelligence documentation based upon research and analysis of the portfolio results and market data.

Report regularly on accounts and marketing activity

Manage and Support accuracy and timeliness of data entry in the tools required.

Visit regularly our clients and project sites (approx. 15-20 days of business travel per year)

Work in close cooperation and coordination with your colleagues in the SI network, participate in business intelligence and knowledge sharing

Responsibly manage data recorded in our information systems to give an accurate representation of the risks subscribed and to allow portfolio analysis.

Collaborate with our technical assistants team to ensure data quality and performance of contracts administration, regularly collaborate and exchange with the claims team and other internal stakeholders

Adhere to compliance and legal frame of SI.
Compétences
-
You are a property underwriter with a former risk engineer experience or a risk engineer with field experience, in the insurance/reinsurance/brokerage industry, with knowledge of the large corporate accounts environment. Ideally 7/10 years of experience with exposure to all types of international and regional property risks.

Sound technical knowledge of subjects associated to General Property underwriting as well as a wider understanding of related legal, social and economic dynamics

Communication ,presentation and negotiation skills

Active engagement and contribution to the global property team is essential, with a strong team spirit

An enquiring mindset with the ability to work independently as a motivated and pro-active self-starter. Curious and willing to learn.

Proficiency in the use of underwriting tools, ability to understand and assess the results

Self-disciplined, principled and solutions oriented

Organised and able to prioritise under pressure, high level of commitment

Ability to evaluate, condense and summarise key information

Confidence to develop and maintain a network of brokers and clients

Fluency in French and English and able to travel worldwide.
