Dans le cadre d'un poste à pourvoir chez l'un de nos clients, compagnie internationale de réassurance nous recherchons un Senior business planning analyst H/F.
Under the supervision of the Head of Technical Financial Planning, you will contribute to the overall planning activities (Strategic and Operating Plans) mainly:

Assuming primarily the responsibility of a relevant underwriting Plan process (and application) within the team, in close coordination with underwriting teams and group management, including the analysis and reporting framework development

Strong coordination is also required with legal entities for the breakdown of the underwriting Plan by legal entity for the purpose of accurate Operating Plans

Ensuring the maintenance and/or upgrade of the main UW Plan processes and reporting tools, for continued efficiency management, being a business partner of the IT department for the maintenance and evolutions of the planning system

Contributing to the IFRS17 project, within the Planning & Strategy workstream, mainly leading the UW Plan stream and contributing to the Operating Plan sub-stream: lead the set-up of this new analytical framework within the UW Plan process and in consistency and/or bridging the financial performance steering under the new accounting standard

Contributing to the production of the BU quarterly performance dashboards and other future activities / projects related to the BU business performance measure

Keeper of the BU reporting segmentation ensuring integrity and stability of the reporting granularity through the whole functions / systems of the business unit and Group : analyses the evolutions of the organization and their impacts on the reporting system (Omega Segmentation module owner for Group non-actuarial Non-Life segmentations), propose solutions and manage their implementation

Support the Operating Plan process and other transversal projects across the team.

Contribute to the enhancement of automated tools to complete tedious and/or simple operational tasks and closely work with IT and Business Unit on the development and maintenance of tools and systems, being proactive in matters of methodology and new I.T. developments

Participate to worldwide working groups within P&C business unit to improve financial planning and rating assumptions, parameters, methods and processes.
Profil:

Minimum 7 years in a (re)insurance company’s finance or actuarial department, or in a consulting / audit firm in the (re)insurance area
Personal competencies:
-
Expertise in results’ control and analysis/reporting
-
Basic skillsets in project management techniques
-
IT Development experience required (VBA, Python, R)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Basic knowledge of IFRS17 and Solvency II

Strong aptitude, personality, and intellect; common sense and sound basic judgment.

Broad intellectual capabilities, an outgoing nature, and the willingness to utilize, maximize and share resources across local organizations and the global operating structure as a whole

Excellent communication skills in both French and English
