Dans le cadre d'un poste à pourvoir chez l'un de nos clients, compagnie internationale de réassurance nous recherchons un Responsable souscription H/F

Rattaché au directeur vous serez en charge du management d'une équipe de 3 business developper, développer la stratégie de développement ( marketing et commerciale), et etre responsable de la relation avec les clients locaux.



-Develop and implement strategies for promotion of business to support the strategic direction for the business unit

-Identify the operational essentials for success and ensurestrategies are implemented successfully

-Lead the development of “new initiative” proposals to help expand the local mandate

-Strategic impact of actions on financial decisions directly affectsthe overall performance of the company and has permanent consequences

-Ensure that  Brand is fully developed. Ensure the successfuldevelopment of growth of business and profitability

-Manage and expand his/her own portfolio of clients, develop newactivities and products on the market

-Actively visit clients to create opportunities

-Identify and create quote opportunities for the business unit
-Collaborate closely with the rest of the functions in supporting the sales function

-Take steps to ensure the rest of the team does what is required to place and close such opportunities

-Develop good business relationships with the pricing actuaries, underwriters, and marketing manager of all target life insurance companies in the market (s) covered by that local office-Work closely with the Chief Underwriter, Chief Pricing Actuary and Managing Director in promoting the local office

-Identify and act on all life and health reinsurance business being tendered in the market(s) covered by the local office

-Ensure to keep abreast of the trends and developments of the external local environment and ensure the group is positioned appropriately to take advantage of same. E.g. Trends that may affect: Buyer of insurance, Providers of insurance (insurance companies), Third parties supporting insurance companies

- Develop good working relationships with third parties servicingour clients to identify ways we can jointly work to support client for gathering client intelligence

- Represent the company, as appropriate with third partiesinterested in the industry
Manage and drive successful implementation of local PRcampaign through outsourced agency or internal resources, as applicable

- Responsible for co-ordination of all clients facing functions withspecific emphasis on the main client facing functions business
development, underwriting and pricing, in the client relationship management activities and in the delivery of quotations for new
business development opportunities

- Oversee the ongoing performance management of the Business
development team members; provide mentoring & coaching.

- Ensure that the group culture is the appropriate one to ensure an overall positive work environment

-Supervise all the activities of the business development area to ensure completion




- High school diploma (graduate +5)
- Actuarial/statistical background required, completed with a strong
sales experience
- Significant experience (at least 10 years) in life
insurance/reinsurance on the French market
- Strong market knowledge
- Business acumen
- Strong negotiation skills
- Clear leadership, People management skills
- Effective interpersonal skills; with the ability to interact with clients at C-levels
- Fluent in English language
