Dans le cadre d'un poste à pourvoir chez l'un de nos clients, compagnie internationale de réassurance nous recherchons un P&C Multigaap controling H/F.

In the context of the IFRS 17 implementation and to support the Finance department transformation, the P&C Analysis and Reporting team is researching a Business Analyst. The collaborator will be in charge of analysing the outputs of the IT system generating the P&C technical bookings that will ultimately feed the Group financial statements, the local regulatory / statutory reports and the internal reporting and its local entities in different GAAPs for P&C (Re) insurance business.

As part of its main responsibilities, the Multi-Gaap Business Analyst will:

• Bring strong accounting and finance expertise to ensure the quality of the system delivery (IFRS 17 actuarial calculations etc)

• Consolidate the business needs and support the teams in the business requirement formalization to ensure coordination with IT

• Contribute to the design of the solution, the impact assesment, the planning, the resources and the priorization of the required enhancements, in particular during the project phases,

• Provide support to the BU and local entities finance teams for their regulatory and statutory accounting and reporting needs, in the context of the process and system design, in order to provide the appropriate set-up for technical booking and reporting

• Coordinate and participate to the execution of the Users Acceptance Tests and the non-regression tests after the IT delivery of each system release to ensure the quality of the developments and evolutions

 

- Key duties and responsibilities

Under the responsibility of the Analysis & Reporting Senior Manager, the P&C Multi-Gaap Business Analyst will:

• Analyze, review and challenge all the IFRS17 and Solvency II data used in the system

• Ensure the data quality of the solution provided by implementing functional checks and following the update on referential relating to the system Estimates and the links with subsequent processes (Transaction Codes and Groupings, mapping to disclosures, Legal Entities, …)

• Define and implement a robust testing strategy to ensure IFRS17 and Solvency II data consistency

• Strongly support the Finance and Actuarial teams in designing some solutions to feed the financial reporting, by documenting the overall architecture of the system and the associated processes, understanding the issues and challenges arising from new accounting and reporting requirements and proposing adequate enhancement

• Participate to the planning / impact assessment phase with IT teams to ensure the right prioritization of the different required evolutions and the business availability for testing phases

• Actively participate to the testing phase of each system release by coordinating and contributing to the user acceptance tests and the non-regression tests

• Ensure right coordination and communication between IT and business on the status of each release or potential issue in the systems

Profil

Master degree (or above) in Finance/Audit/Controlling from Business School or Strong finance and accounting background (domestic or foreign CPA) or actuary degree.The employee needs to have spent at least 5 years in a financial department, preferably in a reinsurance or insurance entity or as external consultant, preferably in the reinsurance and/or insurance area.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in a (re) insurance company in a finance department, or in a consulting firm working for the (re)insurance industry

• Proven work experience within an IFRS and / or Solvency II accounting environment

• Experience within IT department would be appreciated

Skills

• Very good understanding of Actuarial/Risk Assessment/Financial Techniques

• Strong appetite in IT reporting tools (Business Objects, Analysis for Office, Tableau, Power BI, …)
