Dans le cadre d'un poste à pourvoir chez l'un de nos clients, compagnie internationale de courtage en réassurance nous recherchons un Executive Director, Traditional Life Reinsurance H/F.
We are seeking a qualified actuary experienced in Life and Health (L&H) reinsurance, to join our growing team and lead origination, structuring, deal management and transaction execution, with a particular focus on the French & Belgium markets.
You will advise clients based in France & Belgium on reinsurance structures, technical risk quantification, risk management and pricing topics. You will work collaboratively both within the EMEA Life Practice Group and with the local various functions based in Paris. You will interact regularly with clients and take responsibility for developing and growing of Life business across France & Belgium. This includes originating deals, meeting clients to advise and price L&H products and reinsurance solutions. You will also be involved in financial modelling, client presentations, NDAs and service level agreements (SLAs).
As part of the wider sales team, you will also support deal origination, pricing, modelling and structuring for other geographic regions.
The main tasks are:
We are looking for a qualified actuary with valuable life re/insurance expertise including practical knowledge of traditional reinsurance structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development activities and have demonstrable experience in client pitches across various cultures in Europe, able to communicate fluently in French and English with ease. The candidate must be eager to develop expertise in structuring, originating and executing bespoke reinsurance solutions. Other key attributes include:

Analysing clients’ reinsurance requirements and advising on purchasing strategies, new products and structures available.

Pricing and structuring reinsurance programmes, collaborating with actuarial colleagues and contributing to cross-functional teams.

Supporting manager with front line client servicing (supply of market information, negotiating amendments/improvements to cover, facilitating client/reinsurer meetings etc)

Developing client relationships across re/insurers at all levels of organization and growing relationships with key decision makers in France & Belgium but also across EMEA and globally

Engaging with key stakeholders both internally and externally

Be responsible for developing and improving client and market presentations in, Excel, Powerpoint and other MS-packages.
Profil
Qualified actuary with minimum of 10 years experience in L&H re/insurance and/or on re/insurance transactions.

Knowledge of the French & Belgium re/insurance markets.

Demonstrable experience in business development activities, including presenting to c-suite and board level stakeholders of external clients.

Knowledge of traditional re/insurance coverages, with an understanding of applicability across diverse regional markets.

Able to pitch confidently and eloquently on various solutions.
