Dans le cadre d'un poste à pourvoir chez l'un de nos clients, groupe international spécialisé dans la réassurance, nous recherchons un IFRS 17 accounting and reporting manager H/F.
The employee will play a key role supporting the IFRS 17 Technical leader steer the Group Finance Pillar and ensure a smooth coordination with the other two key stakeholders (Life and P&C Divisions, IT and Global). A full time dedicated PMO will assist the IFRS 17 Technical Lead and the IFRS 17 accounting and reporting manager.
The ideal candidate is a confident professional with extensive knowledge of IFRS 17 (accounting and actuarial), familiar with Solvency 2 and reporting and closing processes, has a structured yet agile thought process, analytical mind-set, excellent communication skills and leadership qualities and someone with a successful track-record in running complex projects.

Within the Group Finance Pillar:
-
Supporting the IFRS17 technical leader
-
Overseeing the execution and completion of the various tasks, milestones & sub-workstreams
-
Liaising closely with internal stakeholders and driving performance of external consultants

Leading workstreams as deemed
-
Documenting accounting policy options and other accounting considerations for review by the IFRS Center of Excellence and Steering Committee sign off

Reporting in a timely and effective manner progress, issues and risks to the IFRS 17 technical leader

Liaising with the controls, systems and processes expert to ensure that innovative and practical changes are implemented to the closing and reporting processes

For coordination among the Global program:

Facilitating the decision making involving in Divisions, Group Finance (including local CFOs) and IT.

Escalating issues that may arise to ensure their prompt resolution

Participating actively to the Global IFRS 17 Technical Committee and the Global IFRS17 Operational Committee

the Group Finance technical positions with support from the IFRS Center of Excellence to ensure consistency across Group

Reviewing modelling results
The role involves travelling up to 20% (notably in APAC).

Experience
-
7 years of work experience in a big four audit firm and/ or finance department
-
Dual expertise: Actuarial and Finance background

Extensive knowledge of IFRS 17

Preferred: Good knowledge of Solvency 2

Preferred: Industry knowledge of reinsurance business
