Dans le cadre d'un poste à pourvoir chez l'un de nos clients, cabinet de courtage en réassurance nous recherchons un actuaire H/F

We are looking for an energetic and charismatic junior/experimented life broker who is interested in using its technical and commercial skills to address complex risk topics within our Paris-based structured Life Reinsurance practice. As a team member, you will work on many different topics and design tailor made reinsurance structure thanks to your deep knowledge of Solvency II, accounting standards, actuarial methods and insurance products. You will work a wide range of reinsurance solutions (eg. market risk reinsurance, VIF monetisation, structured proportional and non-proportional covers, longevity swap, mortality bonds, ...) and place risks with various markets. The ideal candidate would:

  • Work on several ad hoc projects and initiatives related to the Life (and Non-Life at some extend)

  • Design reinsurance solution that address the client needs

  • Actively contribute to the local life strategy and marketing

  • Participate in, prepare materials for, and respond to request for proposal from clients

  • Prepare and present client and market presentations

  • Support senior members of the team for client meetings

  • Enthusiastically engage with multiple business units across the firm

  • Develop their network with underwriters, actuaries and other market participants internally and externally


  • 3-6 years of experience in life insurance in an actuarial department or equivalent (advisory firm, ...)

  • High level understanding and interest in life insurance, any experience in savings/ALM is a plus

  • Strong organisational and project management skills

  • Solid analytical and numerical acumen

  • Sales and negotiation skills

  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Initiative and an eagerness to drive projects to a successful conclusion

  • Willingness to deal with international clients and markets

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Fluent in French, full professional proficiency in English, any additional language a plus (German, Spanish, ...)

  • Outstanding powerpoint and excel skills
